Peer Review Policy
Mantra Publication follows a rigorous, transparent, and ethical peer-review process, forming the backbone of scholarly publishing.
Initial Assessment
Upon submission, the editorial team evaluates the manuscript for:
- Originality
- Academic relevance
- Scope suitability
- Language quality
- Market and readership potential
Manuscripts that do not meet basic criteria may be desk-rejected, and authors will be informed promptly.
Peer Review
- Manuscripts passing initial assessment are anonymized
- Assigned to 2–3 independent subject experts
- Reviewers assess:
- Novelty and originality
- Methodology
- Literature relevance
- Academic contribution
- Clarity and structure
Reviewers may suggest improvements but are not responsible for copyediting.
Based on reviewer reports, the Editor will:
- Accept
- Request revision(s)
- Reject the manuscript
Multiple rounds of revision may occur if necessary.

Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are expected to:
- Provide unbiased, constructive feedback
- Maintain confidentiality
- Highlight strengths and areas for improvement
- Avoid personal or unprofessional remarks
Reviewer Evaluation & Advancement
Reviewer performance is evaluated annually based on:
- Review quality
- Timeliness
- Professional conduct
- Outstanding reviewers may be promoted to Editorial Board positions.
Book Editor Responsibilities
Editors are responsible for:
- Managing peer review
- Ensuring ethical compliance
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Guiding manuscripts through publication
Proofing & Publication
Before online publication:
- Authors and editors review final proofs
- Corrections are implemented during production
